Falcom released the new “Prologue” trailer for upcoming enhanced RPG remaster Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana for Nintendo Switch.

The six-minute trailer depicts Ys series protagonist Adol Christin (voiced by Yuki Kaji) as he tells the story of his journey to the Felghana region. Additionally, the trailer presents the question: Why did Adol and his partner Dogi decide to head to Felghana? Watching the new Prologue trailer provides more context for the main story of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.

Ys fans may also look forward to Ys X: Nordics, the next mainline game in the prolific action RPG series. Ys X: Nordics takes place after the events of Ys I and II with a young Adol setting out on an adventure through the northern seas. He will form a bond with a young girl during his journey in the Norman region.

Game releases by Falcom don’t end there in 2023, however. The Crossbell arc reaches its conclusion soon for the first time in English. The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure finally makes its worldwide debut on March 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

The events after the Great Twilight crisis will be told for the first time in English in The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. Heroes of Zemuria will have the spotlight once more when The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie launches on July 7 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

Lastly, Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana releases April 27 for Nintendo Switch in Japan.
