Nvidia Reveals RTX 4070 Ti Starting at $799

The new mid-range offering arrives soon.

Nvidia have officially announced the RTX 4070 Ti, a new 70 class GPU for the RTX 40 series lineup of graphics cards starting at $799. The RTX 4070 Ti launches on Thursday, January 5.

The RTX 4070 Ti features 40 Shader TFLOPS, 93 RT FLOPS, and 641 Tensor FLOPS. This GPU features 12 GB of video memory and identical specs to the previously “unlaunched” RTX 4080 12 GB. Nvidia touts performance faster than a previous generation RTX 3090 Ti flagship GPU. However, users should wait for benchmarks from reviewers later this week.

The new graphics card targets 1440p high-refresh rate gaming as a new mid-range option in the market. Powered by the Ada Lovelace architecture, the 70 class card supports the latest generation of ray tracing and DLSS 3.0 features. Further, the graphics card supports Nvidia’s new frame generation technology for increased frame rates.

AT CES 2023, Nvidia announced new graphics card alongside all-new RTX 40 series gaming laptops from partners such as ASUS, MSI, and HP. These all-new laptops feature discrete GPUs ranging from the RTX 4050 (not yet available for desktop) to the flagship RTX 4090.

Nvidia’s CES 2023 presentation is available to view below:

The RTX 4090, Nvidia’s flagship GPU, is available now starting at $1599. The RTX 4080 (16 GB) is available now starting at $1199. Lastly, the RTX 4070 Ti launches on January 5 starting at $799.
