A major milestone.

In a new quarterly report, Remedy Entertainment has revealed its revenue has increased by 226% following the release of Control Resonant. As result, its Q3 performance has brought in 39.6 million euros.

Since its launch, Control Resonant has sold over 1 million copies. Remedy states in the report that its priority “is to get Control Resonant into the hands of more players.” In addition, it reaffirms that the remakes for Max Payne 1 and 2, while an unannounced new project is in the “production readiness” phase. Remedy will continue to self-publish going forward and build out its two main franchises: Control and Alan Wake. It is currently unknown if Control Resonant will get any post-launch DLC.

Control Resonant is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is available in both digital and physical formats. Collaboration merch is available via iam8bit. Final Weapon reviewed the game and gave it a 4.5/5 review.

We described it as “yet another brilliant work of art from Remedy Entertainment. The story more than makes up for the 7-year long wait time, thanks to both the new and returning characters, as well as the great writing and performances. Additionally, the gameplay is consistently fun due to the compelling world and thrilling combat loop. While the occasional bugs, lack of answers to certain mysteries, and often overwhelming difficulty may be frustrating, they are not enough to detract from one of Remedy’s best games to date. I cannot wait to see what the developer does next.”
