DNF Duel Launches Spring 2023 for Switch, DLC Character Spectre Revealed

    Future plans for DNF Duel finally revealed.

    During ARCREVO Japan 2022, Arc System Works and Nexon announced DNF Duel is coming to Nintendo Switch in spring 2023. Additionally, the new DLC character Spectre was revealed alongside details for the December balance patch.

    DNF Duel will receive a physical Nintendo Switch release according to the announcement trailer shown at ARCREVO Japan 2022. However, further details about the Nintendo Switch version were not shared. Gameplay, visuals, and performance appear to be on par with the console and PC versions.

    Spectre is the first DLC character for DNF Duel. She was teased as the “next challenger” during a DNF Duel sizzle reel at ARCREVO Japan 2022. A release date for Spectre was not announced, and further details were not shared about the character.

    The December balance patch is on track for a release this month with over 100 buffs to character skills, the gauge system, and Awakening skills. Moreover, character defense will be buffed with upgraded evading and a greater advantage following guard cancels. An exact release date for the December balance patch was not announced just yet.
