Nintendo launches official website for Nintendo Pictures

    Creating new visual content with Nintendo IP.

    Nintendo launched its official website for Nintendo Pictures, the newly acquired Tokyo-based video production studio led by representative director Hiroshi Hirokawa. Nintendo Co. Ltd director Yoshiaki Koizumi is also a key member of leadership at Nintendo Pictures.

    Nintendo Pictures was known as Dynamo Pictures prior to the acquisition was made by Nintendo. The studio specializes in Japanese CG animation and its new focus includes creating visual content utilizing Nintendo IP. Recruitment is expected to open sometime in November 2022 according to the official website for Nintendo Pictures.

    An official Nintendo Pictures description reads:

    Nintendo Pictures Co., Ltd. is a video production company wholly owned by Nintendo Co., Ltd. We aim to have consumers around the world learn about Nintendo characters through video, and to create unique videos that will remain in their memories forever. To that end, each and every one of our employees will always think about what our customers around the world will find interesting, and we will work hard to create an organization that can continue to grow by engaging in video production with interest.
