Final Fantasy XVI trailer coming in October 2022

    Release date details teased.

At Tokyo Game Show 2022, Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed the game’s next trailer arrives in October 2022 (Thanks, umadori0726). The confirmation narrows down the original fall 2022 window for the next trailer.

Yoshida reiterates that Final Fantasy XVI is in the final stages of development. Game VFX is complete and adjustments were made for players unacquainted with action games according to Yoshida. Beta feedback has greatly favored the game’s story and action combat. Yoshida describes Final Fantasy XVI as a game that doesn’t let up from start to finish. In addition, Yoshida hopes to provide more details about the release date of Final Fantasy XVI when the next trailer releases.

Lastly, Final Fantasy XVI releases in summer 2023 for PlayStation 5.
