Bungie announced a special Destiny 2 Showcase is set for August 23, providing a first glimpse into the upcoming expansion Destiny 2: Lightfall.

A teaser trailer for Destiny 2 Showcase highlights the events after The Witch Queen including the Witness’ appearance, the defeat of raid boss Rhulk, and the events of Season of the Haunted.

The Solstice event is ongoing in Destiny 2 until August 9. During the event, players may upgrade special Solstice gear and earn new weapons such as a legendary Solstice shotgun.

Lastly, Destiny 2 is available now for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
