The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Makoto Morishita’s The Fledgling Demon Lord’s Starter Shop (Sudachi no Maōjō) manga has announced that it will premiere in January 2027. It has also revealed a new promotional video, key visual, and additional cast members.
The new visual showcases the three main characters, including the two previously announced cast members: Reiji Kawashima, who voices Murabito, or Villager (center), and Rumi Ōkubo, who voices Mao (left). It also features the newly announced character Ash, who will be voiced by Yōhei Azakami.
Jun Hira is directing the anime at project No.9. Keiichirō Ōchi is handling the series scripts, and Katsuyuki Sato is designing the characters.

Morishita first launched the manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in October 2021, and Kodansha publishes the series in English. Kodansha shipped the 12th compiled book volume on January 16.
