Dying Light 2 Bloody Summer event begins June 30

Techland announced the free Bloody Summer Event is live starting today, June 30, in Dying Light 2 across all platforms.

For a limited time, the Bloody Summer event features new rewards for those willing to cut off tons of zombie limbs. Each chopped limb awards the player with 1 Harper’s Token, which is redeemable with Harper for rewards. Additionally, those who chop off 300 zombie limbs obtain a special Cutting Edge axe. If the entire community reaches a total of 3 million zombie limbs cut off, all players will receive the Nightrunner outfit for free.

Check out the new trailer below, via Techland:

“The Bloody Summer event is a new and free limited-time event available in Dying Light 2 Stay Human! It’s all about carnage and making the streets of the City run red with the blood of your opponents. During the Bloody Summer event, the chances of cutting off limbs, slicing your enemies in half, and simply pulverizing them will increase highly. Moreover, some of the Hyper Mode rules will also apply with stronger ragdolls and hit reactions.”
