    Resident Evil Village is coming to Mac

    At WWDC, Apple and Capcom announced Resident Evil Village is coming to Mac devices later this year. Capcom Advanced Technical Research Division Manager Masaru Ijuin confirmed the news on stage and went into technical aspects about the Mac version.

    Resident Evil Village for Mac supports 1080p on a MacBook Air with the M2 chip. A Mac Studio can take the game up to 4K with a steady frame rate. The announcement confirms that RE Engine is supported on Mac devices and could result in future games coming to Mac such as Street Fighter 6.

    At State of Play, Capcom announced Resident Evil Village is coming to PlayStation VR 2. The PS VR 2 version supports dual wielding as players take on the game from the VR perspective. A release window was not announced as PS VR 2 is still in the works with multiple launch titles being prepared.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake is on the way with a release set for March 24, 2023. The remake takes a reimagined storyline for Resident Evil 4 combined with refined gameplay and new elements. The game will release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

    Resident Evil Village releases later this year for Mac. Lastly, Resident Evil Village is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
