    SEGA announced the New Project Announcement Live Stream is set for June 3rd at 7 AM EDT. The stream is hosted by Hiroyuki Miyazaki, Yosuke Okunari, and Misuzu Araki. SEGA teased “a sense of deja vu” with the lineup of presents and tells fans to please look forward to the announcement.

    The “deja vu” for the presenters references their appearance during the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Mini reveal in 2019. Yosuke Okunari also teased future mini console projects following the SEGA Game Gear Micro release in 2020. It appears that the SEGA New Project Announcement Live Stream could be the stage for a new mini console reveal.

    “See a lot of people asking about [Sonic] Frontiers, we don’t have news on Frontiers today but don’t worry soon. It’s still set to come out this holiday, so we will have news for you this year, don’t worry.”
