Sonic Frontiers still planned for Holiday 2022, news coming soon

2022 carries on into late spring without news of Sonic Frontiers. As SEGA revealed new information about Sonic Origins, many fans wondered about when Sonic Frontiers will finally be shown off. SEGA of America social media manager Katie Chrzanowski was asked about more news and says we can expect more soon. In addition, the game is still planned to release in Holiday 2022. Here’s what the social media manager had to say:

“See a lot of people asking about [Sonic] Frontiers, we don’t have news on Frontiers today but don’t worry soon. It’s still set to come out this holiday, so we will have news for you this year, don’t worry.”

With summer approaching, SEGA could be preparing to show off Sonic Frontiers at a major event such as Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase or Summer Game Fest in June. There will be plenty of news from SEGA to share leading up to the holiday season. Sonic Origins releases on June 23rd for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC. Lastly, fans can expect Sonic Frontiers to land on the aforementioned platforms this holiday.
