Fallout: New Vegas 2 reportedly in early talks at Microsoft

According to reputable journalist Jeff Grubb, Microsoft is in early talks with Obsidian and Bethesda for the highly demanded sequel to Fallout: New Vegas! Grubb stated during his Grubbsnax show that the talks are very early on for a Obsidian developed Fallout: New Vegas 2. There are conversations and interest throughout the companies to finally make it a reality, although Fallout: New Vegas 2 will be years away. Here’s what Grubb had to say, courtesy of VGC:

“This is very early, but people have begun to have talks and say these words in sentences, and these words are ‘Obsidian’ and ‘New Vegas 2’. We’re talking years and years away. There’s at least an interest and conversations happening about making something like that actually a reality. A lot of people at Microsoft think that this could work and there’s a lot of interest to make it happen.”

Fallout: New Vegas is among the most cherished titles in the entire Fallout franchise and we hope the RPG sequel finally shifts from ideas to development. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
