According to VGC and GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb, a new Twisted Metal game is in development! Specific platforms for the new Twisted Metal game were not discussed but we can assume its for PS5. The new game “coincides with the new TV series” previously announced in 2019. This Twisted Metal title is early in development so it will be a while before it releases. Additionally, this project is part of Sony’s plan to “synergize” their movie/TV projects with games from PlayStation. This is still considered a rumor though so its worth taking with a grain of salt.
