Bemani composer Yasuhiro Taguchi, also known as TAG, announced that he’s left Konami after a 15 year tenure. Taguchi is going freelance as a composer which could see him in projects outside the rhythm genre of games! Additionally, Taguchi will continue making music for rhythm games and DJ as well. He’s accepting work offers through his business email which can be found on his Twitter profile.

Dance Dance Revolution in the early 2000’s inspired Taguchi to pursue his career. Taguchi would eventually join Konami in 2006 to work on various games like Beatmania IIDX, the Dance Dance Revolution series and more. His music even reached other games outside of Konami such as the Taiko no Tatsujin series. We can’t wait to see what else goes on TAG’s resume in the future.
