Mihoyo released a ton of new details for Genshin Impact version 2.1! Version 2.1 releases on September 1st with Archon Quest Chapter II: Act III – Omniscience Over Mortals. This Archon Quest concludes the Inazuma story introduced with version 2.0. A new daily login bonus goes live on September 1st with tons of rewards. Additionally, the Raiden Shogun makes her playable debut with the new Reign of Serenity wish. The Raiden Shogun, Baal, is a new 5* character in the wish with Sucrose, Xiangling and Kujou Sara having 4* rate ups. Players can also summon from the Epitome Invocation wish for a chance to summon the new Engulfing Lightning 5* spear.
Version 2.1 introduces tons of new content with the addition of Watatsumi and Seirai Islands. After completing the new story chapter, access to Baal’s dedicated story “Imperatrix: Umbrosa Chapter” becomes available. New events go live through September starting with the Hyakunin Ikki fighting tournament on September 2nd. The Lunar Realm fishing event goes live 8 days later on September 10th followed by the Spectral Spirits expedition event on September 19th. Nearing October, the new Moonlight Merriment event goes live to celebrate fall with new quests, rewards and a new claymore weapon. Overall, version 2.1 is going to keep fans busy for a while.
