SEGA announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 releases this June worldwide! The Japanese version of New Genesis is coming to PS4, Switch (Cloud) and PC via Windows 10. The western version of New Genesis is coming to Xbox One, PC via Windows 10, Steam and Epic Games Store. This simultaneous launch in the west and Japan means that all players will get updates to the game at the same time! Additionally, a new benchmarking software for PC called PSO 2: New Genesis Character Creator releases this May. This allows players to test their PC hardware for the game while creating their character for New Genesis ahead of time! Starting on May 12th, a special social media camoaign called “Road to New Genesis” begins. Players have the opportunity to earn Star Gems, Stamps and much more.
New cosmetic DLC is coming to PSO 2: New Genesis in August. Players in Japan also have access to a “Starter Package” with various items. Catch up on the news from the closed beta test and the upcoming New Genesis launch below:
