The staff for Bandai Namco Filmworks, Kodansha, Science SARU, and Production I.G.’s The Ghost in the Shell anime series has announced that a new anime project is now in the works. A new teaser visual for the new The Ghost in the Shell anime project was also revealed, but the exact format of the project was not announced yet.
The Ghost in the Shell premiered on July 7 on Amazon Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions worldwide, excluding mainland China, Russia, and Vietnam.

Toh Enjoe wrote and oversaw the series scripts, Shūhei Handa is the character designer and chief animation director of The Ghost in the Shell. Taisei Iwasaki is the music director and composer, alongside Ryō Konishi and Yuki Kanesaka. Bandai Namco Filmworks, Kodansha, Science SARU and Production I.G. make up the production committee.
