Monster Hunter Rise second week sales in Japan surpass that of Monster Hunter World’s from 2018

The latest sales data from Famitsu is here and Monster Hunter Rise continues to be sales monster in Japan. The game surpassed 277,000 copies sold in the second week of release, surpassing that of Monster Hunter World by 44,000 copies. At this rate, Monster Hunter Rise could be the best selling game in franchise history for Japan. Additionally, the Switch sold over over 130K units alone this past week.
