Animal Crossing: New Horizons sells over 727,000 units in its second week in Japan, reaching over 2.6 million sold in less than 2 weeks in the country

The Switch and Animal Crossing: New Horizons have been dominating Japan these past two weeks. According to Famitsu, Animal Crossing: New Horizons sold 727,791 copies this past week on top of the 1.88 million from the opening weekend. As a result, the game has sold over 2.6 million copies in Japan alone so far.

In addition, the Switch sold 282,561 units with high demand for New Horizons. Its no surprise that more games are being announced for the platform, including Trails of Cold Steel IV. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
