Its no surprise that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is selling strong in Japan, but the sell through rate is impressive! New Horizons has sold through 90% of its initial shipment in Japan, reaching over 1.8 million copies sold in its first week. It outperformed Pokemon Sword and Shield’s week one sales figures as well! Worldwide sales data for New Horizons should come in Nintendo’s next financial briefing. These results will tell how New Horizons is fairing outside of Japan, which should be impressive in that regard.
