The latest rumor comes from Doctre81 once again and this time, an open world IP might be making its way to Switch! Visual Concepts was previously hiring for a Senior-Software Engineer who has experience with Xbox One, PS4 and Switch development. One of the main responsibilities of the engineer include implementing a variety of core software in Unreal Engine 4. Unreal Engine 4 is natively supported on the Switch, adding more credence to a possible Switch version. Currently, Visual Concepts is known for their work on the WWE 2K and NBA 2K series.
