A few of Nintendo’s first party offerings on Switch support the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is another Switch game that will support the Nintendo Switch Online app. It might be possible to host party chats through the app while playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons but its not confirmed as of now. Unfortunately for Nintendo, many people don’t use the app and in general, the app hasn’t been well received.
