AMD claims that upcoming Radeon Big Navi GPUs will target 4K gaming

AMD has been battling Nvidia hard lately in the mid-range PC gaming space, but their ambitions don’t stop there. According to Radeon product management lead, Mithun Chandrasekhar, the upcoming Big Navi GPUs will disrupt 4K gaming. These upcoming graphics cards will target 4K gaming on PC to help establish the market for it. Currently, a majority of PC gamers sit at the 1080p/1440p range of gaming with little interest in upgrading to 4K. Once AMD deals with the mainstream market, their sights are set on the high end against Nvidia. It will be very interesting to see how the Red vs Green battle continues in the coming years.
