Nvidia’s RTX 2060 Founders Edition gets a price drop ahead of AMD’s RX 5600 XT release

Competition is ramping up the mid-range GPU market as AMD’s RX 5600 and 5600 XT approaches! The RTX 2060 has been overshadowed by the 2060 Super variant, providing more bang for the buck in performance. AMD’s RX 5600 XT offers better performance and lower power draw at the 2060’s new price point. Nvidia has responded with a $50 price cut to the 2060 Founders Edition, now being priced at $299.99 instead of $349.99. In addition, it seems that AMD has altered the RX 5600 XT’s final performance to be an even more competitive card in the mid-range GPU space. It’s exciting news as more competition provides better pricing and options for consumers. Lastly, AMD’s RX 5600 releases on January 21st for $279.99.
