Platinum Games director Takahisa Taura sat down for an interview with Famitsu for their latest weekly issue. In the interview, Taura states that Astral Chain sales surpassed his expectations! This is a great push for Platinum Games as they have gained momentum creating games with Nintendo. This new found momentum traces back to NieR: Automata, which helped Platinum Games stay afloat after the cancellation of Scalebound.
