Yu Suzuki from YS NET has shared a special message and video ahead of Shenmue III’s release. It’s an important event for Suzuki as it’s the next chapter of Shenmue. Shenmue II released 18 years and it was thought that the saga would never continue. With the help of KickStarter, fans and SEGA, Shenmue has regained interest in the gaming landscape! Soon, we can put Shenmue III in your hands. Thank you for your enduring support these 18 years since Shenmue II. A game like Shenmue is something one person cannot make on their own. Every day, I shared laughter and tears with the Shenmue III team. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Shenmue III becomes special for you.
One last thing, please. If you have fun playing Shenmue III, please introduce Shenmue to someone new! It would make me happy if even one more person somewhere in the world finds out what makes Shenmue, Shenmue.
