Nintendo released their financials report as of September 30th along with a 3rd party software lineup. In the lineup, Persona 5 Strikers is mentioned. It’s possibly a shorthand name for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for the financials report. However, it could be the English localized title for the game in the west. The financials report was released in multiple languages included English, where many games are referred to by their English localized titles.

Nintendo wants to make more 3DS franchises available on Switch, appeals to Switch Lite owners

Nintendo CEO Shuntaro Furukawa is pleased with Switch Lite sales as Pokemon is expected to drive those sales even further in November. With users worldwide wanting a Switch Lite, the appeal of handheld titles from Nintendo’s past has resurfaced. Furukawa states that the company wants to make more 3DS franchises available on Switch to add more appeal to the Switch Lite. 3DS franchises having new entries for Switch has the added benefit of being on a hybrid system. Furthermore, being able to play formerly handheld exclusive titles in docked mode appeals to users.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses has sold 2.29 million units as of September 30th, top selling 1st party Switch titles

Nintendo has released their latest financial results as of September 30th. Fire Emblem: Three Houses has already surpassed 2 million units in the 3 month quarter since release in July! The game currently sits at 2.29 million units sold. In addition, the top selling 1st party Switch titles data has been updated. Here are the top selling Switch games as of September 30th:

Link’s Awakening sells 3.13 million units within 10 days of release

Nintendo released their financial results as of September 30th and Link’s Awakening is a massive success on Switch! Link’s Awakening sold 3.13 million units within the 10 day period tracked for the 3 month quarter. Its only .8 million units behind Super Mario Maker 2 which sits at 3.93 million.

Nintendo Switch reaches 41.67 million units sold worldwide as of September 30th, latest financial results

Nintendo has released their latest financial results for 6 months ended on September 30th, 2019. In the results, Nintendo announced that the Switch has reached 41.67 million units sold. It’s currently on pace with the PS4’s sales in parallel to its launch when aligned. 4.8 million units were in the three month quarter with 1.95 million of that being the newly released Switch Lite.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon – new characters introduced, Han Joon-gi appears from Yakuza 6

Weekly Famitsu has released some new details for Yakuza 7, known as Yakuza: Like a Dragon in the west. In this week’s issue, more characters and a returning character are introduced. The returning character is Han Joon-gi from Yakuza 6, which raises questions about when exactly the game takes place. Here are the brand new characters:

Han Joon-gi’s appearance in Yakuza: Like a Dragon leads to speculation about the game taking place right before Yakuza 6. More information should clarify this at a later date.

Groove Coaster: Wai Wai Party!!!! releases on November 7th in Japan, English support confirmed

The Switch eShop has listed the release date for Groove Coaster: Wai Wai Party!!!!. The game releases on November 7th in Japan and supports English. This game features a variety of vocaloid stars like Hatsune Miku and Touhou characters competing in a plethora of mini-games and rhythm games. Nioh 2 releases on March 13th 2020, Nioh protagonist William playable in Nioh 2 open beta

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced that Nioh 2 releases on March 13th 2020 for PS4. In addition, players with Nioh 1 save data can play as William in the Nioh 2 open beta! PS4 worldwide shipments reach 102.8 million, 2nd highest selling console of all time behind the PS2

Sony has announced that the PS4 has reached 102.8 million worldwide shipments! This makes the PS4 the second highest selling console behind the PS2. The PS2 has sold 155 million units worldwide. These results were published in Sony’s latest financial results for Q2 FY2019. Lastly, the full financial results are available here.
