Blizzard has announced Overwatch 2 at Blizzcon 2019 and at first, platforms were left up in the air. A fact sheet for Overwatch 2 was made available on Blizzard’s official site. Currently, a release date is unknown but here’s the fact sheet:

DLC character Youmu Konpaku is coming to Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle on November 4th, free for first two weeks

NIS America has announced that a new DLC character is coming to Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle! Youmu Konpaku will join the roster and costs $2.49. However, she will be free DLC for the first two weeks of release starting on November 4th! The game is currently on sale too for $9.99. Touhou fans who haven’t picked up the game for Switch can get it for a bargain.

Arc System Works has uploaded another character trailer today for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle version 2.0! The latest trailer focuses on Elizabeth, trusted servant of the Velvet Room in Persona 3 and Makoto Yuki’s companion. She appears in Persona 4 Arena as well, now joining the BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle roster in the version 2.0 pack. The version 2.0 pack costs $24.99 and adds 9 new characters. God Eater 3 version 2.10 releases on November 7th

Bandai Namco has announced that God Eater 3 version 2.10 releases on November 7th! The update adds content and fixes to the game. Here’s whats included in the update:

  • Hugo and Zeke “Encounters of the Past” chapters

  • New extra and special missions
  • New Class Certification and time attack missions
  • New costumes

  • New Ash Aragami: Aguni Vajra

Various Fixes:

  • Speed adjustment for lock-on behavior
  • Feature to redo character creation
  • Raised cap to use “Abandoned God Arc” to level 40
  • Extra “Abandoned God Arc” skills
  • Database texts and other minor adjustments made

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle version 2.0 – Tohru Adachi trailer

Arc System Works has released the latest character trailer for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle version 2.0! The latest trailer focuses on Tohru Adachi, antagonist of Persona 4. Adachi is the first Persona 4 Arena Ultimax character in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. Adachi is part of the version 2.0 pack, adding 9 new characters to the game for $24.99. Here’s the latest trailer:

Pokemon Sword and Shield themed Tetris 99 Maximus Cup begins on November 7th

Nintendo Versus has announced the next Maximus Cup for Tetris 99! The cup will be themed around Pokemon Sword and Shield. Players who earn 100 event points will earn a Pokemon Sword and Shield custom theme for Tetris 99.

Azur Lane: Crosswave is coming to Steam alongside PS4 version in early 2020

Azur Lane: Crosswave is coming to PC via Steam alongside the PS4 release! Idea Factory has announced that the PC version will release in early 2020. The PC version supports Japanese, English and Traditional Chinese. More information about the game and preorders can be found here.

Bluepoint Games appears to be teasing 2 upcoming remakes

It’s no secret that Bluepoint is one of the premiere studios for remakes and remasters that are built from the ground up. From Shadow of the Colossus to Uncharted, their quality is almost unmatched. In a somewhat weird confirmation, Bluepoint seems to be teasing their next projects which includes 2 long awaited remakes.

From what I can tell these two remakes appear to be Demon Souls and Metal Gear Solid. This is vaguely teased in their tweet but it could also be something like Symphony of the Night and Syphon Filter. Either way, I can’t wait to see what Bluepoint has in store in the upcoming months.

Performance update 1.03 is now live for Bloodstained: RotN on Switch

The long awaited performance update for Bloodstained: RotN on Switch is finally here! The update fixes issues and improves the overall performance of the game running on Switch. According to the official blog post, update 1.03 improves visual quality and stability. Here are some before and after screenshots to show off the update:

Loading times have been improved drastically by 70% but the fixes aren’t done yet. The team wants to continue improving the game with more updates. More improvements will come with update 1.04.
