In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hideo Kojima revealed a new screenshot and details for his upcoming horror game, OD. The release date for the game is still unknown.
In the interview, Kojima states the following about the game: “I wanted to do something new. I wanted to do something different. I had this OD concept since I was working on DS1 [Death Stranding] and I was working on it just by myself. I can’t reveal much detail, but it’s something that no one has ever seen before. A new game system.” Additionally, he reveals that other publishers believed that the core concept behind OD was “crazy,” except for former Xbox head Phil Spencer and current CEO Asha Sharma.
Kojima goes on to say that “I wanted to go beyond the limit of the ‘scariness’ that other games had reached. It’s a single-player game, and I wanted to make it as scary as possible. But for those that might stop playing when it gets too scary, I have thought of a system that will allow them to keep going. I can’t say much more, because it’ll give too much of a hint on the system, and I could get in trouble for saying too much!”
OD will star Sophia Lillis (It, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), Hunter Schafer (Euphoria, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes), and Udo Kier (Hunters, Swan Song). The game will be made in Unreal Engine. In the meantime, Hideo Kojima’s most recent game, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is available now on PC and PlayStation 5.

REMOW has announced the new opening and ending theme songs for LIAR GAME Part 2 alongside the release of a new trailer and key visual. Several new cast members for LIAR GAME Part 2 were announced as well.
Kroi performs the second theme song “All in,” and muque performs the second ending theme song “Still Not Enough.”
“I’ve always been a huge fan of LIAR GAME, so I’m truly thrilled to be performing its opening theme!”
“I own the entire manga series, and I was so into it back in middle school that I even played with the special 17 Poker deck that came as a bonus in the drama DVD box set. It’s a series that means a great deal to me personally.
“For this song, I wanted to capture the unique sense of tension and unease I felt while reading LIAR GAME, as well as the psychological battles that are never as straightforward as they seem, and express them through Kroi’s sound. Through a beautiful melodic line
and a dark, distorted soundscape, I think we were able to create something that reflects the many layers of lies and truth woven throughout the story.
“I believe this song is where the world of LIAR GAME and Kroi’s musical identity intersect. I hope you’ll enjoy it alongside the anime.”
“It’s truly an honor for muque to be performing the ending theme for LIAR GAME, a series I was completely hooked on as a student.”
“‘Still Not Enough’ was inspired by the sense of emptiness and loneliness that lies deep within Akiyama’s heart. We poured those feelings into the word ‘enough’—or rather, the lack of it—when creating this song.
“The story becomes even more intense and suspenseful than the first season, and I hope this song can stay with viewers and gently resonate with them long after each episode ends.
“I’m really looking forward to the anime’s premiere! ۹( ‘ω’ ) و”
Yorushika performs the LIAR GAME opening theme song “Bubble,” while Lucky Kilimanjaro performs the ending theme song “Asahi.”

ONIMUSHI Hyogo and TABINOMICHI have released a demo for Return to Shironagasu Island sequel, The Distant Circular World, on PC via Steam. The demo was initially rejected, but the developers have made all the necessary edits.
Unfortunately, the demo doesn’t support English. However, the Steam page has further details about what fans can expect from the upcoming game:
Rewrite the world.
Months after the incident on Shironagasu Island —
In two cities — New York and a rural town in Japan — two stories begin to unfold. A detective and a girl. Their stories were never meant to intersect — until a forbidden device that rewinds time binds them together. To reach the truth, they repeat, again and again — even if it means losing everything…
Through the Zapping System, two stories progress simultaneously — and the way they intertwine drives the narrative forward.
A suspense x sci-fi x mystery adventure set across New York and a provincial Japanese city, where the stories of two protagonists collide.
[Side A — New York Arc]
Brooklyn, New York. A mysterious figure named Lila stumbles into the office of private detective Ikeda Sen. Around the same time, a client named Walton entrusts him with an enigmatic device.
Soon, the illicit organization “Babylon” emerges in pursuit of Lila, and its operative Callander stands in Ikeda’s way. With NYPD detective Tio, assistant Koi, and heiress Akira — a group of eccentric allies — Ikeda plunges into the heart of a massive conspiracy.
[Side B — Japan Arc]
A provincial city in Japan. High schooler Izumozaki Neneko lives a quiet life, hiding a special ability — perfect memory. Her everyday world is shattered when skeletal remains are found in the canal along her school route.
Mysterious traces left beside the body, the shadow of her mother who vanished months ago, and an unsettling presence creeping closer to those around her. Together with her sister Kisara, and friends Niwa and Torako, Neneko pursues the truth — which links to past incidents and reveals three suspects.
This demo includes the opening chapters of two story arcs: the New York arc, following protagonist Ikeda Sen, and the Japanese provincial city arc, following protagonist Izumozaki Neneko. Experience the beginning of both narratives and get a taste of the full game’s dual-protagonist structure.

HoYoverse has announced that the next closed beta for Honkai: Nexus Anima, titled the “Evolution Test,” will start on July 9. Pre-registration is available now via the game’s website.
Check out the new trailers for Honkai: Nexus Anima below:
Honkai: Nexus Anima is a brand-new creature-collector adventure strategy game in the Honkai series. In this world, Nexus is the unseen bonds woven between paired concepts, such as Love and Hate, Light and Dark, Life and Death, among many others. However, this balance is unexpectedly shattered when a sudden rupture severs those connections, scattering their remnant powers across the land in the form of Anima. From this fractured order, players embark on a journey: through missions and combat, they forge bonds with these Anima, unlocking abilities that reflect the unique concepts each embodies. Moreover, these abilities can be combined to create diverse battle tactics and influence how players explore and engage with the expansive overworld.
In the game, players take on the role of a plane-hopping traveler who has escaped captivity, embarking on an all-new adventure. The journey begins in a tranquil town that opens into uncharted realms. As players advance, they encounter Anima companions with distinct personalities and forge bonds that carry through both exploration and combat. In Nexus Battles, these companions stand beside players as the story uncovers the mysteries of the protagonist’s past. As the latest major entry in the Honkai series, Honkai: Nexus Anima continues to deliver the franchise’s signature high-quality storytelling and artistic style, and it also marks a bold new chapter in both gameplay and worldbuilding.
