Netmarble has released a new update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which adds a new hero Estia, alongside several Halloween events. It also features a new raid difficulty and more.

Estia is a character created exclusively for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. She takes on different combat roles depending on whether she equips a Rapier, Wand, or Grimoire. With a Rapier, she serves as a Cold-element attacker, applying Weaken stacks on enemies before unleashing a powerful Ultimate Move. A Wand gives her a Holy defense and healing role, helping allies survive through healing over time, area healing, and barrier. Finally, a Grimoire allows her to become a Cold-element Support and boost allies’ Ultimate Move damage and critical stats while weakening enemies’ defense.

Players can discover her three combat styles in the Hero Estia Trial Event, which available through November 18. These let you earn rewards that include Star Fragments and Supreme Mastery EXP. A press release outlines one of the new Halloween events for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin:

Arriving for the Halloween Season, Mighty Freaky Circus invites players into a horror circus where reality and illusion intertwine. As the Capital of Liones celebrates its harvest festival, Tristan discovers a mysterious circus tent that no one else can see. Drawn inside, he becomes the star of a dangerous show and finds himself in a seemingly endless nightmare. Players can complete event quests and defeat event boss, Star of the Nightmare, to collect currency exchangeable for rewards such as Halloween Chance Basket, Brilliant Engraving Seal, SSR Magic Crystal Shard, and more.

In addition, the Deadly Sins, Assemble! minigame is available until November 18. It lets players earn event currency, which can then be exchanged for the special title, Halloween Chance Basket, Radiant Potion of Charm, and other rewards. The Update Eve Check-In Event will also last from November 4 to November 18. This offers a Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket, Regular Hero Draw Ticket, and more. Finally, the update adds the Transcendence difficulty in the Taranis’s Sanctuary raid. To obtain its final rewards, players must defeat the final boss, Black Knighthood Captain Taranis.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games. Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin executive producer Do-Hyung Koo to discuss the game’s development, the team’s initial goals, consultation with manga creator Nakaba Suzuki and more.
