The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Releases Act 17 ‘Heart of Water’ and New Character Lancelot

Netmarble has released a new update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which adds the new Act 17 “Heart of Water” story content. It also features new character Lancelot, alongside several new events.

Lancelot is the son of Ban and Elaine. He can fight with the Staff, Longsword, and Gauntlet weapons. When equipped with Staff, he becomes a Holy Attacker that increases Holy-type damage. With Longsword, he turns into a Physical attacker, while with Gauntlet, he takes on a more supportive role as an Earth Support. He is available alongside the Pick-Up Draw “Heart-Piercing Eyes,” event which will be available until October 28, and allows players to try out the hero and one of his weapons. The “For What We Hold Dear” event will last for the same period, and features Lancelot’s exclusive skin and weapon skin. You can unlock these skins via a costume draw.

Act 17 “Heart of Water” marks the continuation of the main story. It takes place in the newly added Cordin Village, and focuses on “a mysterious petrification disaster spreads across the village.” According to a press release, “players will follow a story in which Tristan helps uncover the stories of the villagers affected by the crisis. The episode also introduces a mystery surrounding a stolen keepsake and hints at further developments.” The update also features the Transcendence difficulty for [Draco King Drake] Boss Challenge. Several more events, such as a check-in event, are included too. The event rewards players with Brilliant Engraving Seal, Regular Hero Draw Tickets, Cube Keys, and more.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games. Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin executive producer Do-Hyung Koo to discuss the game’s development, the team’s initial goals, consultation with manga creator Nakaba Suzuki and more.
