Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have announced that Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 physically and digitally on January 26, 2027 alongside the game’s first expansion. Players can wishlist or pre-order the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 6 in the PlayStation Store, and pre-orders for the Premium Edition grant early access, starting January 21.
Forza Horizon 6 launched on May 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows (Microsoft Store) and Steam, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers also have instant access to the game. With cross-play and cross-saves, Forza Horizon 6 players will be able to play together on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S while continuing their progress on whichever versions they own.
Forza Horizon 6 launched with over 600 real cars and several new features, including touge battles and multiplayer CoLab. The game is set in Japan, with Tokyo as its main destination. Tokyo is the largest urban area ever featured in the Forza Horizon series with an assortment of high-profile race cars and street vehicles, including the 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo, 2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck, 2025 GR GT Prototype and 1995 Porsche 911 GT2.
A new Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset are also available. The Xbox Wireless Controller – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition ($89.99) and Xbox Wireless Headset – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition are available for purchase at Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, and other participating tech retailers.
