A brand-new website has launched to announce that Hyuganatsu and artist Modomu Akagawara’s The Failure at God School (Kami-sama Gakkō no Ochikobore) manga will be getting an anime adaptation. In addition, a brand-new visual was also released.
To celebrate the announcement, Akagawara also shared a celebratory illustration:
Hyuganatsu, author of the popular series The Apothecary Diaries, and Akagawara debuted the The Failure at God School manga in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine in August 2021. Hakusensha published the manga’s 15th compiled book volume on Friday. The novel adaptation launched in January 2022, with Star Seas Company publishing the novels’ fifth volume in Japan on May 27.

Modern life means modern solutions—even to supernatural problems. So of course the government would have a classification system, special schools, and licenses for people with mysterious powers.
