SEGA has released a new trailer for Crazy Taxi: World Tour, which showcases Japan as the game’s third major setting. It joins California and Germany.
The location will allow players to explore major cities like Shibuya, as well as other historic neighborhoods. You can also visit SEGA Headquarters, described as “local artisans who are true masters of their crafts.” Check out the new “Welcome to Japan” trailer for Crazy Taxi: World Tour below:
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is the first major entry in the Crazy Taxi series since 2002’s High Roller. The new game is part of a move by SEGA to revive its dormant IPs such as Jet Set Radio. The game was first announced at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase alongside a reveal trailer.
The game’s soundtrack includes returning hits from The Offspring and Bad Religion, including “All I Want”, “Change the World”, “Ten in 2010” “Them and Us”, and “Inner Logic”. SEGA will reveal further information about the soundtrack, including new, additional artists, at a later date.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour will release in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The game will also be available to play via Xbox on PC.
