Activision has released a new campaign trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which reveals that Mads Mikkelsen will play an antagonist. It will launch on October 23 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Microsoft Store.
The Xbox Wire outlines more details about the story, which will feature Price working with Valeria and the Cartel now that he is on the run. Both Ghost and Gaz will hunt him down in a globe-spanning manhunt. The game will also focus on North Korea’s invasion of South Korea, as well as an unknown weapon being delivered to “The Archer.” While Activision have not yet revealed it, it is likely that Mikkelsen will play the role of The Archer. The actor is most well known for his roles as Le Chiffre in Casino Royale and Clifford Unger in Death Stranding. Infinity Ward is working with Digital Legends to develop Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will support cross-play across all platforms, and the Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. It will release on the platform as a code in a box. The Campaign Early Access period for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will begin on October 23.
