The official website for season 2 of A Wild Last Boss Appeared! has revealed that it will premiere early on streaming on September 26. It will then premiere on Tokyo MX on October 3, and Asahi and Kansai TV on October 4.
ABEMA and U-NEXT will stream the upcoming season 2. A new trailer has also released, which previews the ending theme song “Yurete Skirt” (Swaying Skirt) by Chakura. Yūya Horiuchi is returning to direct the second season at Wao World, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu once again oversees the series composition. Maiko Ebisawa reprises her role as character designer from the first season, joined by former chief animation directors Tōko Nakamura, Takashi Kobayashi, Shōta Ueno, Mamiko Mizutani, and Takahiro Miura, who are also contributing to character design for the new season alongside newcomer Akiko Satō.
