A new website has revealed that the SSS-Class Revival Hunter novel/webtoon will be adapted into an anime that will premiere in January 2027. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.
The streaming service will air the anime worldwide, excluding Asia, with availability in the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia. The anime stars Takeo Ōtsuka as Gongja Kim and Satoshi Hino as the Sword Emperor. Hiroaki Sakurai will direct the anime at STUDIO fu. Sayuri Ōba is writing the script, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu is designing the characters. Check out the first trailer for the upcoming anime below:
The initial novel debuted in November 2018. The webtoon launched in December 2020, which Tapas publishes in English. WuxiaWorld publishes the web novel. Tapas describes the series as follows:
