CRKD has begun shipping its new CRKD Nitro Deck 2 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 with four colorways—White, Smoke Black, PAL Grey, and Fusion Limited Edition As previously announced, Nitro Deck 2 builds on its predecessor with a number of requested improvements and backwards compatibility.
The Nitro Deck 2 features improved ergonomics and zero stick drift with the new CaptiStick Technology. Instead of sliding into the shell, the Switch or Switch 2 can be set in place with a retractable locking mechanism that ensures a secure fit for a flexible, future-ready experience. What’s more, Bluetooth functionality lets players use the Nitro Deck 2 for Switch, Switch 2, PC, mobile, and Smart TV, while the U Adapter ensures low latency wired handheld play without the use of Bluetooth.
Not only does Nitro Deck 2 retain the programmable back buttons of the original, but there are also new L2 and R2 secondary shoulder buttons. The stick tops also remain swappable and compatible with existing CRKD Stick Top packs, and the D-pads are now swappable with two accessory packs and four styles. The triggers were also improved with smooth, tactile digital triggers, and the kickstand has been redesigned with durable metal. Gamers can also fine-tune the Nitro Deck 2 with adjustable rumble, deadzone, turbo, and additional customization options.
In collaboration with Limited Run Games, the new Nitro Deck 2 Fusion Limited Edition features a half Glacier Blue and half Atomic Purple split design, invoking nostalgia for classic Nintendo consoles and the iconic colorways of the original Nitro Deck. Meanwhile, the Nitro Deck 2 PAL Grey features a retro-inspired design, and fans can heighten their gaming experience with the new Stick Tops Pal Edition Top 8 Pack, Stick Tops Pal Edition Pal D-Pad 4 Pack, and a hardshell carry case (sold separately).
The Nitro Deck 2 is available now for $99.99 at crkd.gg, and select colorways are also available and shipping through Amazon. The hardshell carry case is also available now for $39.99 alongside the D-pad and stick top packs for $19.99.
After receiving the Nitro Deck 2, players may register it and add it to their personal secure collection in the CRKD CTRL app’s True Collection System feature on Android and iOS. The registration process will also reveal its rarity rank and product number.
