Pony Canyon has announced that Assassination Classroom director Seiji Kishi will direct the new original anime series Maiden Blood, which premieres in 2027. The studio also stated that it will reveal further details at a later time.
The anime stars Iori Saeki as Eva and Yukari Anzai as Epica.
Kishi, scriptwriter Makoto Uezu, and Pony Canyon are credited with the original work. Keiji is directing the anime at Polygon Pictures, while Uezu is overseeing the series scripts. LAM is the original character designer. The composers include Keiichi Okabe, Kuniyuki Takahashi, and Taichi Jōraku. Satoki Iida serves as the sound director. Pony Canyon is producing the music, with MONACA credited for music production cooperation.
Pony Canyon describes the series as follows:
