A new official trailer and teaser visual for Sakamoto Days Season 2 were released during Anime NYC 2026 as another sneak peek for Netflix’s upcoming slate of anime. As previously announced, Sakamoto Days Season 2 will premiere in January 2027.
The new cast members for Sakamoto Days Season 2 include:
- Kikunosuke Toya as Amane
- Misa Watanabe as Etsuko Satōda
- Shinshū Fuji as Yotsumura
Daisuke Nakajima is the new director for the second season, and Masaki Watanabe returns as the supervising director. Taku Kishimoto oversees the series scripts, Yō Moriyama designs the characters, and Yūki Hayashi is the music composer. TMS Entertainment animates the second season.
