Netflix has announced that Sunrise and SHAFT’s new anime adaptation of the Fool Night manga will premiere on November 26, exclusively on Netflix. A new trailer for Fool Night was also released alongside confirmation of three new cast members.
The Fool Night anime stars Kōki Uchiyama as Toshiro Kamiya and Minako Kotobuki as Yomiko Horai.
Additional cast members include:
- Junya Enoki as Akira Yatsuka
- Aya Endō as Saeko Kanaeno
- Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi as Jin Hiragishi
Atsuyuki Yukawa will direct the anime at Sunrise and SHAFT. Jin Tanaka will write the script, Robert Sato is designing the characters, and Tatsuya Katō is composing the music.

Kasumi Yasuda launched the Fool Night manga in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine in November 2020. Shogakukan released its 12th compiled book volume on January 30.
