Niantic has released a new timed research for Pokémon GO, giving players access to a special Mewto to commemorate the game’s 10th anniversary. A new video has also released, further highlighting the game’s journey.
The video focuses on a young Trainer, first watching the Pokémon GO trailer in 2016, and how they grew alongside the game up until now. The free Timed Research will lead to an encounter with a Mewtwo with maxed-out stats and a Special Background. Mewtwo caught from the Timed Research will also have the third Mega Level unlocked for Mega Mewtwo Y. It will be available to catch until September 9.
