Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Releases New ‘Last Rites’ Free Update

Ubisoft has revealed that a new free update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now, which adds the new “Last Rites” mission. The update also features 4K visuals and 60 FPS support. 

According to a press release, “Last Rites features a brand-new standalone mission set in a darker, more oppressive Bolivia. The Ghosts enter a region controlled by Los Penitentes, a fanatical cult united by faith, sacrifice, and violent justice. Players must hunt down La Llorona, the cult leader, by navigating dangerous swamps and dense forests where visibility is low and danger is lurking.” The release, alongside the addition of improved visuals and new customization options, commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ghost Recon series.

In addition, Ubisoft has also revealed that a new Insider Program is now live, which will give plans the chance to “help build the next Ghost Recon.” Currently, the future of the franchise is unknown, though a new entry will seemingly release in the coming years. Lastly, Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Steam page describes the game as follows:
