Netmarble has released a new update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which adds new playable hero Derieri. The update also adds new quests and cooperative raids.
Derieri is one of the members of the elite Demon Clan warrior group “The Ten Commandments.” The game recreates her relentless fighting style from the original series and offers three distinct combat styles through her Gauntlets, Greatsword, and Axe weapons. Derieri’s signature Duel mechanic increases damage dealt as players continue attacking enemies affected by Duel while building Combo stacks. After reaching the maximum number of stacks, she can unleash Ultimate Skills without consuming Magic. She can also strengthen Fire-element allies, which allows players to create a variety of strategic team compositions.
Players can obtain Derieri through the Pick-Up Draw. Further, the Hero Derieri Trial Event is now available through August 26. This allows players to experience her unique combat style while earning various rewards. The update introduces the original event story “A Reunion in Chaos,” which is set in the aftermath of the Holy War. It follows Tristan as he investigates the mysterious reappearance of The Ten Commandments while uncovering the truth behind a growing conflict involving multiple factions. Players who complete the event story can earn various rewards, including Star Fragments, Enhancement Stones, Weapons and Gold.
In addition, the Memory of Dimensions quest will be available until August 12. The 15-player cooperative raid “Chaos That Devours the Desert” will start on August 12 and last until August 26, alongside the Half-Anniversary Countdown Check-In Event. Lastly, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games.
