Comic Pash has revealed that an anime adaptation for the light novel Tsuihō Sareta Shōnin wa Kin no Chikara de Sekai wo Sukū (Exiled Merchant Saves the World With the Power of Money) by Daken and Kasane Bench is in development. This follows a manga adaptation that started on July 31.
The anime has released character visuals depicting the main character Torao, as well as supporting characters from the party Garnet. Rio, Lilith, and Dominic are also part of the group.
MyAnimeList describes the series as follows:
Torao is a merchant in the S-rank adventurer party, Blue Ring. He is kicked out of the group after being caught secretly providing financial support to Garnet, a rookie all-female adventurer party.
Following his exile, Torao leaves them with a stern warning, but Blue Ring ignores it and recklessly challenges the Demon King, leading to their total annihilation. Torao subsequently joins Garnet. Ironically, their very first mission is to head to the front lines to salvage valuable equipment from the corpses of the wiped-out Blue Ring members.
