Nintendo has announced that two unreleased Virtual Boy games, ZERO RACERS and D-HOPPER, will be available for the first time for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on August 4 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. A new trailer, titled “Enter the Third Dimension” previews ZERO RACERS and D-HOPPER before the games are added to the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics lineup.
In addition, the following soundtracks were added to Nintendo Music:
- Virtual Boy Wario Land
- Mario Clash
- Galactic Pinball
- Teleroboxer
- Mario’s Tennis
Nintendo also announced that Super Mario Sunshine will be added to the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics lineup for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on August 13. Before its arrival on Nintendo Switch 2, the only way Nintendo Switch fans could play Super Mario Sunshine natively was through the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, which was delisted from the Nintendo eShop in March 2021.
Nintendo launched the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics lineup for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library on February 17. The Virtual Boy accessory for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 is available for $99.99 at the My Nintendo Store. A cardboard version of the Virtual Boy accessory is also available for $24.99 at the My Nintendo Store as well.
On Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members also have access to various Nintendo GameCube games, including Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Super Mario Strikers, SoulCalibur 2, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and F-ZERO GX. A Nintendo Switch Online-exclusive GameCube controller is also available now for $69.99.
