Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil Requiem has reached 8.06 million copies sold, while Pragmata sales have surpassed 2.51 million. The updates come just a few months after both games released earlier this year.
Initially, Pragmata sold 1 million copies just a few days since its release. Afterwards, it reached 2 million copies after 16 days. While the statistics may not seem as impressive compared to the heights Resident Evil Requiem has reached, PRAGMATA‘s success is still noteworthy considering it’s a brand new IP from Capcom. The game is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed PRAGMATA and gave it a 4.5/5 score, noting that the game “dreams big with inventive hacking-shooting gameplay, and Capcom has hit a home run.”
Resident Evil Requiem, on the other hand, managed to sell over 7 million copies just under 2 months since its release. The game is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam alongside a free demo. The Deluxe Edition is available with the Standard Edition ($69.99), a pack of five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and much more. A Premium Steelbook Edition ($89.99) is also available featuring the full game, Deluxe Edition contents, and a limited-edition lenticular card.
Other sales updates from Capcom include the following:
- Monster Hunter: World – 30.45 million
- Resident Evil 2 (2019) – 19.75 million
- Resident Evil 7: biohazard – 18.41 million
- Resident Evil 6 – 17.60 million
- Resident Evil 4 (2023) – 16.04 million
- Resident Evil Village – 15.86 million
- Resident Evil 3 (2020) – 14.52 million
- Devil May Cry 5 – 14.24 million
Lastly, Capcom’s next game, Onimusha: Way of the Sword will release on September 4 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A demo is available on all platforms excluding Switch 2, and pre-orders are available now featuring the “Sealed Curse” sword skin and “Lion Dog” charm as bonuses.
