The second season of the anime adaptation of Masakuni Igarashi’s manga Tune In to the Midnight Heart has announced that it will premiere in 2027. Returning staff and new cast were also revealed, along with a teaser visual.

- Kaede Hondo as Mito Yamabuki
The anime’s main cast includes:
- Momoko Seto as Rikka Inohana
- Rumi Okubo as Nene Himekawa
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Iko Kirino
- Miku Itō as Shinobu Uzuki
- Hana Kanazawa as Lemon Ando
- Yūki Wakai as Aiko
- Nao Tōyama as Ao Hyakusai
For season 1, Masayuki Takahashi directed the anime at Gekkō, Yukie Sugawara handled series scripts, and Tomoyuki Shitaya was the character designer. All are returning for season 2. Akira Nagasaki will be replacing Azusa Sasaki as color designer. The Tune In to the Midnight Heart anime is streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and an English dub.
Tune In to the Midnight Heart Season 2 will likely stream on Crunchyroll as well. Igarashi launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023. Kodansha’s K MANGA service publishes the manga digitally in English. Lastly, here’s an overview, via Kodansha:
When Arisu Yamabuki was all alone in bed at night, he was able to find solace in the voice of a radio host who went by “Apollo.” However, one day, she simply stopped broadcasting without any explanation. Years then passed, and Arisu is now a second-year high-schooler. He makes it his mission to search for Apollo, as there is something he wants to tell her. He doesn’t know what she looks like, or even what her real name is, but he manages to get some leads on her in his school’s broadcasting club. That’s where he meets four girls who all dream to get a job where they can make full use of their voices! Just who is Apollo, and how will those four’s dreams pan out?
