Bandai Namco has revealed a first look at Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra season 6, which will release at an unknown later date. The new season will add Beerus as a playable character, among other additions and adjustments.
The season will add a new Divine Draw, titled Burst Step, alongside the return of Spirited Away and Super DMG Boost Skill 2. It will also feature new helpers: Tapion and Dende. Further, a new boss will be available to fight in the season, known as Yakon. Yakon can create an area of Darkness to create a barrier, and the Enemy Drain ability, which allows him to nullify all enemy attacks and absorb HP. If he absorbs too much damage, though, he will explode, dealing a devastating attack to him. Players can also check out new sub-rules when the season releases. Beerus will launch alongside these new changes, as well as the Summer Festival event, at a later date.

Final Weapon reviewed DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting its an “addictive free-to-play 4v4 team battle game that combines the rich history of Dragon Ball with MOBA elements. Players can take advantage of a respectable roster of characters from across the Dragon Ball universe to battle it out online, and there are also plenty of features that let friends play each other with a variety of options and features at their disposal. Despite some of the roster omissions at launch, there’s a solid foundation for a game that could keep Dragon Ball fans entertained for years to come.”
